Machines, explained in motion.

We are a small studio making 3D animation of industrial machines from the manufacturer's CAD, staged like a film: light, camera, material and sound.

Why we started

Good machines are sold with a spec sheet and a few photos. The engineering that makes them better stays hidden inside the frame.

We started Hyperlynx Design to show it: the real parts, moving in their real sequence, staged with the care of a film.

A film built from your CAD can open the machine up and show it working, part by part. An engineer can check it. A buyer can follow it.

Your machine, not a lookalike.

The standard every film is held to.

Geometry
From your CAD assembly. Every part on screen is a part you built.
Finish
Paint, decals and finish matched to photographs of the real machine.
Figures
Only the numbers you publish, each one approved by you.

And its limits

Not a simulation
It shows how the machine works. It does not calculate forces, loads or cycle times.
Not a sign-off
It explains and sells the machine; it is not an engineering approval.
No tolerances
It cannot certify a tolerance. A figure on screen is the figure you supply.

How we work

  1. Accuracy first.

One wrong part and an engineer stops trusting the rest. Parts, sequence and numbers are checked before anything is made to look good.

  2. One idea per shot.

Each shot explains one thing. If a shot needs a paragraph to follow, it becomes two shots.

  3. Small and direct.

You talk to the people making the film, from the first file to the final render.

Start with your CAD.

Send a short brief and we reply with a price range; no CAD needed for that. The fixed quote follows once we have seen your CAD.
